Q&A: Corporate Wellbeing With WeWork

Balder Tol WeWork _WOW.jpg

At Waves of Wellness (WOW) we believe it is so important to have balance within your workday, and that time should be allocated to mental, physical and social wellbeing. This not only makes us happier and less stressed at work, it also makes us more productive and creative - and at the end of the day, better employees. Corporate Wellbeing Programs have been shown to result in more satisfied employees, and these employees are less likely to suffer burnout or quit their job.

We’ve teamed up with WeWork to deliver bespoke corporate wellbeing programs and asked Balder Tol, General Manager Australia and Southeast Asia how it's all going…

Why did WeWork want to get involved with WOW?

The WOW program recognises the significance that balance can play in the workplace, discussing the importance of switching off, boundaries, and time-out. Together, we’ve committed to shifting the stigma surrounding mental health and address the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

What has been the impact of WOW’s Corporate Wellbeing Programs?

The impactful sessions have brought our tight-knit teams even closer together, providing a non-judgmental, safe space for everyone to open up and be a little vulnerable with each other. Many participants have reported feeling a greater sense of trust and collegiality, even between employees in different states.
